Want to know the real story behind the birds and the bees, and who keeps eating all your lettuce?  In this fun playshop, Vynnie McDaniels will address the challenges of growing a veggie garden in an urban environment that’s brimming with an assortment of wildlife.  From thrashers, to leaf-cutters, to junebugs, learn who is friend and who is foe, and how to attract one and repel the other.

Vynnie will reveal his top veggie pics, and also share his organic methods for managing pests without harming the garden.  Learn about planting and harvesting cycles, how to feed hummingbirds naturally, why bees are the best pollinators, the hazards of javalina, and loads more.  You can share the wealth without losing your harvest, and turn you garden into an edible naturescape.

This workshop is ideal for gardening beginners, seasoned green-thumbs, scarecrows, and orno-thusiasts. All attendees with receive Vynnie’s Backyard Wildlife Gardening Guide as well as in-store shopping discounts!
